I’m Alberto Rizzo, for everyone “Riz”, class of 1987.

I was born in Alba and spent my childhood in my grandfather Duilio Fedele’s vineyard, a producer of Moscato grapes for generations. My path is set: first a diploma at the School of Oenology, then a degree in Viticulture and Oenology at the University of Agriculture of Turin. At 25 I become an oenologist. My dream.

After years of experience in wineries in the Barolo area, I take over from my grandfather, renovate the barn next to the vineyard turning it into a cellar, and in 2021 I vinify my first vintage. And what a vintage!

The wines are born in that perfect balance where technical expertise meets the warmth of family tradition. I don’t just make wine; I bottle our story and the energy of the Langhe land.

SA'DFIU' | Innovative White My challenge. A white designed to break the mold, able to surprise from the very first sip. It’s the expression of our desire to experiment and to look to the future with fresh eyes.

My Philosophy: Small Numbers, Big Character.

I chose to start with a limited production of 2,500 bottles. Compared to the giants of the industry these are small numbers, but for me they represent the essence of craftsmanship. Each bottle is personally followed, cared for in every detail, and ready to tell the beginning of this promising journey.
